We just released a new version of the Client Software which offers backup of System State on Windows 7,8 and Server (2008 and 2012). The System State backup is processed very efficient (based on VSS) and can be as small as 30 MB compressed. Existing users only need an automatic update (to version 4.3.2) to enable System State backups.
Now you can easily backup and restore a System State without using external tools. This ‘hot backup’ methodology also ensures the machine is fully functional during backup.Users have the ability to back up all settings (preferences and system configurations) of their Windows installation including backup of:
- Cluster Database
- Registry
- Active Directory
- Boot and System Files
- Certificate Services Information
- Component Services
- Class Registration Database
